Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and determination of women all around the world. As we commemorate this special day, I, Folashade Florence Grace Olabanji-Oba , APC Executive Chairman Hopeful , of Ikorodu Local Government salute our women and girls of Ikorodu and beyond.
I acknowledge the progress made towards gender equality, and also recognize that there is still much work to be done. As a woman in politics globally, I am committed to championing the cause of women’s empowerment and inclusivity in our communities.
My vision for Ikorodu Local Government is one where women and girls have equal access to opportunities, resources, and decision-making positions. I pledge to work tirelessly to promote gender equality, challenge discriminatory practices, and support initiatives that uplift and celebrate women and girls.
