The world president of International Association of World Peace Advocates, His Excellency Ambassador Per Stafsen was on Saturday, 3rd of August, 2024 conferred with the rare chieftaincy title of Eze Udo Gburugburu of Igbo Land by His Royal Majesty, Igwe Jude Arinze Nnaemeka, the Eze Igbo of Isolo and Amuwo Odofin and the council of Ndi Eze Ndigbo in Lagos State.
The conferment of the chieftaincy tittle was preceded by the induction and presentation of awards to a selected group of individuals who stood out for their uncompromising commitment to peace in a world plagued by conflicts and wars, by His Excellency Ambassador Per Stafsen and his team from IAWPA, including Director of IAWPA, His Excellency Amb. Prof. Chidi Ehiriodo, International Spokesman of IAWPA, His Excellency Emmanuel Nweke, Veteran Nollywood actor, Amb. Charles Okafor, His Eminence Amb. Dr Emeka Iloh, His Excellency Amb. Eze Nicholas Njoku, etc.
The inductees includes His Royal Majesty, Igwe Jude Arinze Nnaemeka, the Eze Igbo of Isolo and Amuwo Odofin, Chief Monday Akunna, chairman of Green Field Estate, Chief Raphael Okechukwu, Executive vice chairman Green Field Estate, Chief Obinyelu Franklin Okechukwu, Dr Bernard U. Anita, CEO Robust Supermarket, and Hon. Chinyere Ayoriofu.
The epic event which took place at the Green Field Estate Secretariat, Ago Palace Way, Amuwo Odofin was witnessed by the president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos, Chief Solomon Ogbonna, The president of the Igbo Speaking Community in Lagos, Chief Sir Cyril Sunday Eze, Magistrate Nurudeen Layeni Atanda, Arthur Igbolaju Richard, the CEO of Bottomline Media and publisher of bottomlinetv.com.ng , among other important dignitaries.
