The biblical and popular saying that “He who fineth a wife fineth a good thing” and that “love is a beautiful thing may not be the case for Mr Tijani Shehu Adegbola as his wife of 13 years and mother of his 3 children, Ramotalahi Tijjani, popularly called Hajia turned to knife instead of wife and nearly took his life.
She did not just stop there, she went further to sale his house to one Mr Idowu Shodipe, with the false claim that she was a widow.
She also sold his Honda Pilot Jeep, laptop ,Canon camera and took away school certificates.
Recently the couple dragged themselves to the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan Lagos, case handled by CSP Adegbite Omotayo over the sale of the house located at 25, Orinsunbare Street,Itele, Ogun State and after the police investigations, it was revealed that Mrs Tijani forged the documents of the house.
She confessed to this crime and she and the illegal occupants were detained, after which an agreement was later reached that the illegal occupants, Mr Idowu Shodipe and his family should vacate the property by June 4th, 2024 which they agreed to.
On Sunday, 20th of July, 2024 Mr Tijani took some journalists as a precaution to itele where the house is located, only to discover that Mr Idowu Shodipe and his family were still occupying the property almost 2 months after the date they agreed to vacate.
The community leaders, including the CDA Zone 1 Chairman, Mr Sharafa Oguntade and his secretary came out to address the situation.
While still there, the lawyer to Mr Idowu Shodipe arrived the scene and pleaded with Mr Tijani to give the illegal occupants a soft landing, while at the same time Mr Idowu Shodipe was at the other end threatening to deal with Mr Tijani if he ever come close to the house again.
After everyone had left the scene, DPO Itele, Juliana Yusuf instructed three police men to arrest a co-landlord who was at the scene, Alfa.
Information added that the DPO threatened Mr Adegbola Shehu Tijani that she will arrest him anytime he comes to his house and who ever nears the building.
Findings revealed that the Genesis Of The Matter happened in 2022.
Though the couple have been having some domestic husband and wife misunderstandings where wife would be eager to check husband phones . Husband refused but wife would break the phone. It was also added that another trouble was said to have started sometime in 2021, precisely on the day of Mrs Tijani birthday, she had commanded her husband not to go anywhere that day, but Mr Tijani, being a journalist decided to go to work and at same time get some birthday gift for his wife.
On arriving home that night with the surprise birthday gift he got for his wife, while singing s birthday song for her, Mr Tijani was greeted with knife attack.
He was severely wounded and was rushed to the hospital where he spent about one month, and the incident was reported at the Itele police station.
After that Mr Tijani ran away from home with nothing, except the clothe he was putting on on the night of the attack.
Mr Tijani has severally alleged one Mr Kehinde Awowole, a police officer at the Itele police station was not just having an affair with his wife, but also coming and sleeping over in his house.
This allegation was also corroborated by some residents in the area.
The DPO of itele police station, Juliana Yusuf was also accused of conspiracy and complicity in the case as she’s believed to be siding with Mrs Tijani with the way she handled the knife attack that nearly took the life of the complainant. Allegation she bluntly denied when she visited Onitele of Itele, H R M, Oba Musiliu Ademola Eletu.
Claiming that Mrs Tijani was only introduced to her as one of the informants in the police station by one police officer.
